Well hello everyone. Happy Birthday Basha. oops i mean ellipses girl . i completely do not know how to spell that word. moving on. i just ordered six books from the library. yay! go library! what would we do without you? probably start doing really stupid things out of sheer boredom. like running down the street with a bathing suit over your clothes singing happy birthday, or taping apple juice wrappers all over the bathroom mirror just to see what people's reactions will be. hmm. thats' actually kind of a good idea. you know, i've always wanted to do those crazy things that you see in forwards, like one million ways to annoy people, in alphabetical order, or a thousand things to do in an elevator. you know, i mean who hasn't wished that they could actually get up the guts to do one of those ridiculous suggestions. another funny thing about those lists. no one actually stops and thinks about the absurdity of it. number one - what kind of person has enough time on their hands that they sit and write up ridiculously long lists of ways to make a fool out of yourself? number two - THEYR"E MAKING IT UP!! NO ONE ACTUALLY TRIED THEM OUT AND TESTED IF STANDING BACKWARDS IN AN ELEVATOR ACTUALLY ANNOYED PEOPLE! and all of y'all who are reading this - don't deny it! i'm sure whenever you get these things, you crack up, and think to yourself, "that would be hysterical! i want to see ______ (insert name here) do that so badly!!" or "i could so see ____ doing this!". come on people, these things are not meant for reality. they should come with a warning label, do not try at home. but seriously, picture yourself, or someone you know lying on a park bench with a sleeping bag and pillow in the middle of the day; selling noodles from an icecream truck, or asking the salesperson in a chlidrens shoe store to help you try on their new kiddie sneakers, and think, think really hard, would people actually laugh, or would they look at said person with pity, and think to themselves "what asylum did they escape from?" . really. in our society, real people ( unlike us, ritss girls with a warped sense of humor-{its true, just try going to a camp in NY or even michigan or whatever- people from other places seriously don't think that monty python is funny, they'd just be bored to death. their idea of humor is when teachers dress up for purim. ha ha.} ) where was i?.. oh yeah, real people don't find randomness humorous at all. they find it strange, odd, and altogether frightening. anyway, i'm getting bored of hearing myself talk in my head as i write this ( you know what i mean, when you type an email or something , you hear yourself saying it inside , dont' you? or maybe some of you actually say it along while you type. well good for you!) so i'm gonna sign out . ooh, cheesy! oh wow that is another topic for another long rant. we'll call it the Cheese Factor: Idnetifying the root of the sappy nature of most movies and books. maybe next time. oh wow, i feel like i just wrote an essay or something. like for a column in a newspaper (not that it was that good, but like the style of it, you know?) so once again, hope you enjoy, i would love to hear your feedback on my ideas! BYE.
